West Central Georgia Cancer Coalition presents “Freshness is the Focus Program” in collaboration with MercyMed Farm for cancer survivors, thrivers, and their caregivers.

This event will cover why eating healthy foods matters, how healthy eating is about more than calories, and why it’s important to eat a balanced diet. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables helps you stay at a healthy weight, maintain muscle mass, and get the nutrition you need. Plant-based foods even aid in cancer prevention! Come learn all this and more. Then enjoy fresh, locally-grown produce from our own MercyMed Farm!
